Overview
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Laborer to join our team, ideally a subcontractor who can write his own Invoices and is available for steady full time work. The ideal candidate will be hands-on, detail-oriented, and capable of performing a variety of physical tasks to support construction, maintenance, Interior and Exterior work. This role offers an opportunity to develop hands on skills and gain valuable experience in a dynamic work environment. Candidates should be prepared to work in diverse conditions and demonstrate a strong work ethic, attention to detail is a must, preffered construction/handyman skills, respectful to clients and there property, strong and willing to learn, able to work alone and alongside someone. We are willing to train the right candidate, must have own transportation to all jobsites.
Duties
- Assist with construction, renovation, or maintenance projects by performing manual labor tasks such as lifting, carrying, and moving materials, Install flooring, demo work, purchase products, run errands, install windows, Exterior work, and various interior renovations.
- Operate basic tools and equipment safely and efficiently under supervision
- Prepare work sites by cleaning, organizing, and setting up necessary materials and equipment
- Follow safety protocols to ensure a secure working environment for all team members
- Support skilled tradespeople by providing assistance as needed during project execution
- Maintain cleanliness of the work area and properly store tools and materials after use
- Perform routine inspections of equipment and report any issues or hazards promptly
Experience
- Prior experience in construction, carpentry, or general labor is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Ability to read and interpret instructions, diagrams, or safety guidelines is advantageous
- Knowledge of safety procedures related to construction or industrial environments is a plus
- Must be dependable with a strong commitment to punctuality and teamwork
- Ability to follow directions accurately and work effectively both independently and as part of a team
