Express Employment Professionals is currently recruiting Assemblers/Shop Assitants for one of our valued clients in the HVAC manufacturing industry, specializing in the production of mild steel and stainless steel duct systems.

Pay
$21.20 per hour
Schedule
- Training/Day Shift: Monday to Friday, 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM
- Candidates must be flexible to transition to the afternoon shift of 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM as business needs evolve.
Responsibilities
- Assemble components and finished products according to work orders, drawings, and production specifications.
- Read and interpret basic blueprints, work instructions, and assembly diagrams.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and measuring equipment safely and accurately.
- Assist with cutting, fitting, drilling, fastening, and preparing materials for assembly.
- Inspect completed assemblies to ensure quality standards and specifications are met.
- Package, label, and prepare completed products for shipment or storage.
- Assist with receiving, organizing, and moving materials throughout the shop.
- Maintain inventory of parts, hardware, and shop supplies as required.
- Keep the shop clean, organized, and safe by performing general housekeeping duties.
- Follow all company health and safety policies, procedures, and safe work practices.
- Support other production, assembly, and shop operations as needed.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience using measuring tools such as tape measures, calipers, and squares.
- Proficient with hand and power tools.
- Ability to do manual lifting
- Experience working with metal products is considered an asset.
- Strong attention to detail and mechanical aptitude.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable, safety-conscious, and committed to producing high-quality work.
