We are looking for two team oriented, safety minded, Packaging Team Members to join our Global Vintners Inc. Production team at our newly renovated and expanded production facility! The Packaging Team Member will be responsible for working with other packaging team members to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the packaging line.
The successful candidate will be accountable for:
Daily operation of packaging line.
Ensuring all correct packaging additives are staged and ready for production.
Repacks and ensuring they are completed accurately.
Cleaning and maintaining equipment before, during and after production runs.
Palletizing product according to specifications.
Following safe work practices.
Maintaining quality standards.
Ensuring production efficiency.
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications/skills:
Secondary School Diploma
Lean Manufacturing experience
Fork Lift certification & experience an asset
Mechanical and equipment maintenance experience an asset
GMP/ SOP knowledge/exposure
Team player, excellent communication skills
Attention to detail
Able to work dedicated afternoons; Monday to Friday – 3:00 pm to 11:30 pm
