Garage212 Auto Repair is a family-owned and operated automotive repair facility serving Calgary and the surrounding area. We service a wide range of domestic, Asian, and European vehicles, providing honest recommendations, thorough inspections, and high-quality repairs that build long-term customer relationships.
We’re looking for a Licensed Automotive Service Technician who thrives on solving complex problems and delivering accurate, high-quality repairs. The ideal candidate is confident in diagnostics, skilled in electrical troubleshooting, and motivated to continually refine their skills. What Success Looks Like in This Role
The successful candidate will:
- Diagnose complex drivability, electrical, noise, vibration, and performance concerns accurately and efficiently.
- Perform advanced mechanical repairs, including major engine and timing system repairs.
- Be comfortable using scan tools, oscilloscopes, multimeters, and manufacturer service information.
- Perform air conditioning diagnostics and repairs.
- Complete thorough vehicle inspections and identify safety, maintenance, and repair opportunities.
- Write clear, professional, and detailed inspection reports and diagnostic stories.
- Take ownership of repair quality and stand behind the work they perform.
- Communicate professionally with teammates and customers.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Show up to every shift on time, ready to work, with their own professional tools and CSA-approved safety footwear.
- Contribute positively to team culture and support fellow technicians when needed.
Our shop performs a broad range of work, from maintenance and repair to advanced diagnostics, electrical troubleshooting, drivability concerns, air conditioning systems, and major engine repairs. This role is ideal for a technician who enjoys variety and wants to use their diagnostic skills on a daily basis.

Minimum Qualifications
To be considered for this role, candidates must have:
- Journeyman Automotive Service Technician certification
- A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Professional toolbox and required hand tools
- CSA-approved steel-toed safety work boots
- Successful candidates must provide a satisfactory criminal record check
