Overview
The primary function of this position is to act as the first point of contact for new and existing house accounts, providing professional support and quality service. The role will focus on client care activities such as explaining coverage/limits, reviewing policies, recommending products according to client’s needs, collect payment, remarketing when warranted and developing accounts with retention and growth as major focal points.
Responsibilities
- Provide prompt, accurate, and professional customer service to new and existing clients
- Respond to customer inquiries and concerns, resolve customer complaints and escalate issues appropriately
- Manage existing clients in processing policy changes, coverage upgrades, risk control and renewal quotes
- Proactive servicing, reviews, remarketing, cross-selling and upselling of policies
- Develop leads, identify customers’ needs, and market appropriate products and services
- Process changes via EDI upload/download and insurer portals
- Maintain account activities and update client information
Requirements
- RIBO Licensed
- Prior general insurance experience is preferred
- Demonstrate a positive and professional relationship with team members, clients, and professional contacts.
- Motivated to continually develop technical and soft skills.
- Second language such as Mandarin or Cantonese
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $40,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
