Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physiotherapy Assistant to join our dynamic healthcare team. Responsibilities
- Assist licensed physiotherapists in implementing treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs
- Support patients during therapeutic exercises, ensuring proper technique and safety
- Prepare treatment areas and equipment for therapy sessions, maintaining cleanliness and organization
- Monitor patient progress and report any concerns or changes to the supervising physiotherapist
- Provide excellent patient care by offering encouragement, answering questions, and ensuring comfort throughout sessions
- Maintain accurate documentation of treatments, patient responses, and progress notes
- Follow all safety protocols and adhere to hospital policies related to infection control and patient privacy
- Schedulling appointments, fax & Scan medical documents.
Requirements
- Prior experience working in a hospital or acute care setting is highly preferred
- Strong understanding of medical terminology relevant to physiotherapy practices
- Passion for patient care with excellent communication skills and a compassionate approach
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team
- Demonstrated ability to follow detailed instructions and maintain attention to detail
- Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules and clinical priorities
- Relevant certifications or training related to physiotherapy assistance are advantageous
