Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Glass Factory Technician to join our manufacturing team, in the production of our unique architectural flat glass products. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and operating various machinery and equipment used in glass production, ensuring high-quality output and adherence to safety standards. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with advanced manufacturing technologies in a dynamic environment, contributing to the production of premium glass products, which are used by world renown retailers, hotels, and casinos.

Duties
- Operate advanced, custom polishing machines
- Perform mechanical tasks utilizing hand tools, calipers, and other precision measuring instruments.
- Cutting, fabricating, lifting, cleaning of architectural flat glass panels
- Conduct quality control inspections throughout production to maintain product standards.
- Use forklifts for material handling within the warehouse or production areas safely.
- Package finished products efficiently while maintaining safety and quality standards.
- Build high quality, solid wood crates, for shipment of custom glass panels worlwide
- Follow safety protocols diligently to ensure a safe working environment for all team members.
Skills
- Experience working in the flat glass industry is extremely beneficial.
- However. with strong construction or mechanical knowledge, and considerable use of hand tools is equally as beneficial.
- Ability to read blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD files accurately is desirable.
- Experience operating forklifts and warehouse equipment safely.
- Basic math skills necessary for measurements and calculations during manufacturing processes.
- Knowledge of quality control procedures to ensure product specifications are met consistently.
- Warehouse experience is preferred for efficient material handling.
- Competence with SolidWorks or similar CAD software is a plus.

Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour
