Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Barista to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional customer service while preparing and serving high-quality beverages and food items. The Barista will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere, managing transactions, and maintaining cleanliness standards to ensure a positive experience for all customers.
Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee, tea, and specialty beverages using POS system
- Handle cash transactions accurately through cashiering and cash handling procedures
- Assist customers with menu selections, answer questions about products, and provide excellent customer service
- Perform food preparation tasks including assembling food items and maintaining food safety standards
- Maintain cleanliness of the work area, equipment, and dining space in compliance with food safety regulations
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service
- Restock supplies as needed and ensure proper food handling procedures are followed
- Uphold food safety standards by adhering to health regulations and proper food handl
Qualifications
- Previous barista experience and experience in making cappuccinos
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours
- Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction accuracy
- Ability to perform food service duties including serving, food preparation, and maintaining cleanliness standards
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
