Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and organized environment within our warehouse or manufacturing facility. This role requires familiarity with warehouse operations, heavy equipment operation, and safety protocols to ensure efficient and effective cleaning processes that support overall operational excellence.
Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of warehouse floors, machinery, and work areas to ensure cleanliness and safety standards are met.
- Support warehouse activities such as order picking, packaging, and order fulfillment while maintaining cleanliness standards.
- Conduct routine inspections of heavy equipment operation areas to identify potential hazards or maintenance needs.
- Follow safety protocols related to heavy lifting, construction-related cleaning tasks, and the operation of heavy machinery.
- Ensure proper disposal of waste materials and hazardous substances in accordance with safety regulations.
Requirements
- Prior experience in warehouse or manufacturing environments is preferred.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently.
- Experience with shipping & receiving processes including load & unload activities.
- Knowledge of warehouse distribution practices, order picking, packaging, and order fulfillment procedures.
- Construction or industrial cleaning experience is a plus.
- Strong attention to safety protocols when operating heavy equipment like forklifts or cranes.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.60 per hour
