CANADA KITCHENS is currently seeking a Warehouse Order Picker Associate for our Concord location! This position is based on a day shift schedule (9:00 AM – 5:00 PM) but may require occasional evening and weekend shifts (Saturday or Sunday).
Previous Order Picker and Forklift experience is considered an asset; however, certification is not required at the time of hire. Successful candidates will be required to obtain both Order Picker and Forklift certifications within their first 90 days of employment.
Requirements:
- Must be able to safely lift and carry up to 50 lbs independently.
- Prepares orders by processing requests and supply orders; pulling materials; packing boxes; placing orders in delivery area.
- Completes deliveries by driving truck or van to and from vendors.
- Provides quality service by following organization standards.
- Preserves safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat.
- Promotes clean shipping supply area by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Excellent organizational skills
- Knowledge of technology and machinery used for transporting or storing materials
- Awareness of Public Safety and Security measures in place to prevent injuries
- Ability to work well with others
- Understanding of inventory
- Dependability, Time management, Coordination
- Must have their own safety shoes
Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements:
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
- Order Picker/ Forklift Certification within 90 days of job entry date
