Qualifications and Responsibilities Applicants are required to... have a Valid Alberta Teaching Certificate have a Bachelor of Education Degree or equivalent recognized by Alberta Education have an Understanding of different teaching methodologies and multiple intelligence Teach according to the educational needs, abilities and achievement of the individual students and groups of students be adaptable and flexible in a supportive learning environment be Committed to working as a team member in a collaborative setting have strong communication and classroom management skills be committed to professional development Part of school values and beliefs: Teachers are required to cover their heads with a bandana while on school property, field trips, and professional development days. Teachers are required to bring vegetarian snacks and lunches (no meat, egg or fish) while on school premises and during school hours.
