As an integral part of the E-Commerce team, is responsible for the coordination and execution of the online activities for the website, supporting the overall objectives of the division and its retail online business;
Improves the customer shopping experience and performance metrics, incorporating findings from the following activities and analyses: 1) analysis for understanding customer behaviour and tailoring the online experience to maximize conversion rates; 2) Product performance history to develop recommendations regarding merchandising mix; 3) According to inventory levels, recommendations on which commodity requires some additional promotional offers to increase sales;
Obtains and maintains all merchandise on the dynamic website through daily merchandising efforts; Obtains product information and features from the merchandising teams and ensures that this information is in alignment with Marketing and E-Commerce calendars;
Monitors and tracks product performance and availability of inventory; interacts regularly with the brand/division's Planning and Allocation team;
Follows-up on the process by which product is photographed and presented on the web site. Follows up on schedules of the photographer and stylist;
Coordinates photography with photo studio supervisor to ensure promoted items are available for purchase online on a timely manner (for Marketing promos);
Works with vendor and internal IT Services to flag any sub-optimal performance of the website and resolves issues in a timely manner;
Coordinate with IT vendors (as required) to implement merchandising ideas and ensure technical feasibility;
Runs daily inventory file to ensure all new product is live on sites.
University Degree in Business or Commerce with a major in Marketing;
Three (3) to five (5) years in Marketing, preferably in a retail organization. E-commerce, website development or merchandising experience is an asset;
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook);
Knowledge of Web Administration tool, Merchandising & Planning systems and Web analytics;
Strong project management and coordination skills;
Ability to multi-task and set priorities under tight time constraints;
Strong problem-solving skills and result oriented;
Good analytical skills and detail oriented;
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
Bilingualism is required (French and English/written and spoken).
