The Magna Exteriors portfolio of products includes access systems such as liftgates, exterior trim, modular systems, front-end modules including fascia, active aerodynamic systems and other lightweight structural components for automotive, commercial truck and other industrial markets.

Ensure Process capability for all new programs. Design/Implement changes to work cell layouts using AutoCAD for all departments.

Work with all Manufacturing engineers and Department Process Technicians in resolving any problems regarding manufacturing process capability, using sound Engineering principles and SPC techniques.

Conduct Program, Routing, and BOM Audits to ensure product is within the quoted standard.

Perform work cell assessments with focus on process flow, standardization, ergonomics and 5S. Document the current state and make improvements by adding detailed work instructions, including audio / video demonstration

Perform, direct, and carry out any and all other assignments from time to time as management directs.

Assist in the development and launch of all new programs as required.

Knowledge of Lean principles, 5S, process flow required

Familiarity with FMEA, APQP, DOE

Strong technical writing skills
- Ability to effectively use MS Office Programs to edit or create detailed work instructions

Strong communication, organizational and interpersonal skills

AutoCAD experience, computer literacy required
