Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled X-ray Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures, ensuring patient safety, and maintaining high standards of care. This role requires an individual ability to work effectively and independently in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform X-ray examinations on patients.
- Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety.
- Operate X-ray equipment and ensure proper functioning.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of imaging procedures.
- Adhere to safety protocols and radiation protection guidelines to minimize exposure to patients and staff.
- Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the imaging department.
- Stay updated on advancements in radiology technology and techniques.
Qualifications
- Registered member in good standing with the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
- Previous experience in a clinical setting is advantageous but not mandatory.
Pay: $32.00-$38.00 per hour
