Tuc's Contracting is seeking experienced Hydrovac Swampers to join our team. The successful candidate will assist Hydrovac Operators with daily operations while ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with company and client requirements.
This position requires a strong commitment to safety, the ability to work in a physically demanding environment, and experience supporting hydrovac operations in industrial settings.
Duties include, but are not limited to:

Assisting Hydrovac Operators with daily hydrovac operations

Performing general labour duties as directed by the Foreman or Supervisor

Assisting with equipment setup, operation, and maintenance

Maintaining a clean and organized work area
-
Following all company, client, and regulatory safety requirements
-
Actively participating in all company safety initiatives
-
Assisting with inspections of vehicles, equipment, tools, and work areas
-
Completing assigned tasks safely and efficiently
Successful candidates will possess:

Valid Class 5 Driver’s License
-
Clean 3 Year Driver’s Abstract and Commercial Driver’s Abstract

Minimum 2-3 years of Hydrovac Swamping experience

Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
-
Strong commitment to workplace safety
-
Ability to work in physically demanding conditions and adverse weather
-
Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Eligibility to access major oil sands sites (no active site bans)

Standard First Aid

CSTS

OSSA (or equivalent safety orientation)
