Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our manufacturing team as a <PERSON>. Duties
- Operate cranes, forklifts, and power tools safely to move materials and equipment around the manufacturing floor.
- Assist with machining and assembly processes, ensuring components meet quality standards.
- Use hand tools and welding equipment for fabrication and repair tasks as needed.
- Perform basic math calculations for measurements, quantities, and process adjustments.
- Apply lean manufacturing principles to optimize workflow and reduce waste.
- Conduct routine inspections of machinery and tools to ensure proper functioning.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives through active participation in team activities.
Requirements
- Proven experience with crane operation, forklift driving, machining, or assembly in a manufacturing setting.
- Mechanical knowledge with familiarity in welding, power tools, hand tools, and basic maintenance procedures.
- Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for measurements and process adjustments.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Prior experience in welding or machining is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Must possess or be willing to obtain relevant certifications for crane or forklift operation if required by the company policies. Pay: $20.00-$22.00 per hour
