Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated person to join our team to care for our 18 acre driving range and Mini putt facility. This role involves maintaining and enhancing outdoor facility through hands-on gardening, landscape and facility maintenance. The ideal candidate will have experience working with various tools and equipment including Walker riding mowers, power trimmers, hand tools, etc. to ensure the beauty and functionality of our outdoor spaces.
Responsibilities
- Perform landscape maintenance including mowing, trimming, pruning, and planting to keep outdoor areas attractive and healthy
- Use hand tools, power tools, riding and push mowers, and irrigation equipment to install, repair, maintain, and improve facility features.
- Conduct routine maintenance on gardening tools and landscape equipment to ensure safety and efficiency
- Maintain cleanliness of work areas and ensure compliance with safety standards during all landscaping activities
- Collaborate with team members to plan projects and execute them efficiently
Requirements
- Experience with gardening, or landscape maintenance preferred, but will train
- Must like the outdoors and early mornings
- Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, mowing equipment safely and effectively
- Knowledge of landscape maintenance practices including lawn care
- Basic maintenance skills for equipment
- A proactive approach to garden health and safety standards
- Physical ability to perform outdoor work in various weather conditions, including lifting up to 50 pounds
- Punctuality and reliability an absolute must
- Able to work with minimal supervision, yet perform tasks as a team member
- Interact politely and effectively with customers
