What you'll be doing
· Full-cycle bookkeeping
· Bank and credit card reconciliations
· Accounts payable and receivable
· Payroll processing
· GST, PST, WCB, EHT and payroll remittances
· Month-end financial reporting
· Journal entries and account reconciliations
· Supporting clients with questions and helping them understand their numbers
· Working with modern cloud-based bookkeeping technology
We're looking for someone who has
· 2+ years of bookkeeping experience
· Experience with QuickBooks Online (or learns technology quickly)
· Excellent communication skills
· Strong attention to detail
· The ability to prioritize multiple clients and deadlines
· A positive, solution-focused attitude
· Experience with BC payroll and taxes is an asset
· CPB designation or working toward it is a bonus, but not required
