SC Party Helpers is looking for experienced, professional, and dependable Event Staff to join our growing team. We provide staffing for weddings, private parties, corporate events, celebrations, and special occasions throughout the Lower Mainland and Fraser Valley.
We are currently hiring:
- Bartenders
- Servers
- Kitchen Helpers
Responsibilities
Depending on the event and position, duties may include:
- Setting up buffet tables, beverage stations, and event areas
- Replenishing buffet food throughout the event
- Clearing guest tables and collecting used plates, cutlery, and glassware
- Serving coffee, tea, water, and other beverages
- Assisting guests in a friendly and professional manner
- Putting out desserts and cutting cakes
- Packing leftovers and assisting with kitchen cleanup
- Washing dishes and maintaining an organized kitchen
- Setting up and maintaining the bar
- Mixing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages (Bartenders)
- Replenishing bar supplies, ice, mixes, and garnishes
- Working closely with clients and fellow team members to ensure every event runs smoothly
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years' experience in the position you are applying for
- Experience in banquet, catering, hospitality, or event services
- Professional appearance and excellent customer service skills
- Friendly, reliable, and dependable
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable vehicle and valid driver's licence
- Serving It Right Certificate (required for Bartenders and an asset for all positions)
- Available to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and occasional short-notice bookings
Preferred Qualifications
Applicants with experience in more than one position (Bartender, Server, and Kitchen Helper) are encouraged to apply. Cross-trained staff are a valuable asset and may have additional opportunities for work.
