Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Environmental Risk & Compliance Manager to develop and monitor environmental compliance programs across the company’s multi-state portfolio to ensure adherence to federal, state, and local regulations, permitting, and interconnection standards.
What We’re Looking For:
Managing environmental permits, site assessments, and regulatory approvals for solar and storage projects.
Leading environmental due diligence for acquisitions.
Overseeing Environmental, Social, and Governance compliance frameworks (e.g. Global Real Estate Sustainability Benchmark and Sustainability Accounting Standards Board standards).
Serving as primary liaison to government agencies on enforcement and regulatory matters.
What You Bring:
Bachelor’s degree in Environmental or Electrical Engineering [foreign degree equivalent accepted]; and
24 months of experience in the environmental energy field conducting environmental risk management, regulatory compliance, and governance for renewable energy or sustainable infrastructure projects, responsible for: multijurisdictional regulatory and permitting, overseeing government licensing, Power Purchase Agreements, and regulatory navigation across distributed energy markets; implementing donor and investor compliance frameworks; identifying and mitigating climate, environmental, and stakeholder risks on large-scale renewable energy projects through risk management and compliance procedures; interpreting regulatory and financial requirements and supporting their incorporation into project compliance plans and internal procedures; and managing reporting and coordination across government agencies, investors, and stakeholders.

Compensation:
Salary Range: $117,291-$119,500 USD
Bonus: 20% of annual salary
