REQUIREMENTS:
- Class 3 Driver’s License with air brake endorsement and a clean abstract.
- Previous experience operating a mixer truck, or the willingness to learn (training provided).
- Previous physical labour experience.
- Thorough knowledge of the Motor Vehicle Act and Regulations.
- Ability to different shifts, such as callouts, weekends, and overtime as needed.
- Willingness to work in extreme weather conditions.
- Capable of performing moderate physical labour.
- Self-motivated, team-oriented, and committed with a positive attitude.
- Willingness to follow instructions and take directions.
- Safety conscious with a willingness to learn and practice safe work habits and actively participate in worksite safety.
- Ability to maintain excellent customer relations.
JOB DUTIES:
- Loading and driving materials/products to various job sites.
- Maintenance of equipment and vehicles, ensuring they are properly serviced and equipped (ie. greasing and cleaning).
- Investigation and recording of equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs.
- Ensuring all materials and tools are properly secured.
- Follow safety policies and procedures such as pre trips, post trips, and hazard assessments.
- Carrying out other related duties as assigned.
Due to the safety-sensitive nature of this position, the successful candidate will be required to complete a pre-employment drug test. Employment is conditional upon a confirmed negative result.
