Job Overview
We operate a busy truck mechanic and maintenance shop that services our own fleet. We are currently looking for a skilled and reliable Welder to join our team.
Responsibilities
- Perform welding and fabrication work on trucks, trailers, and related equipment
- Repair and replace metal components using MIG/TIG or stick welding techniques
- Fabricate brackets, frames, and other custom metal parts as required
- Follow safety standards and maintain a clean, organized workspace
- Work closely with mechanics to complete repair and maintenance tasks efficiently
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of welding experience (preferably in truck or heavy equipment repair)
- Knowledge of MIG, TIG, and arc welding
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Must be reliable and able to work independently or as part of a team
Schedule
- Full-time, Monday to Friday
- Occasional weekend work may be required
