Job purpose
To accurately fulfill customer orders by retrieving products based on order information, verifying quantities and item details, and packing them securely for shipment. The ideal candidate has strong attention to detail, follows processes closely, and works efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Duties and responsibilities
- Pick products from inventory shelves based on order forms or picking lists
- Verify product details, including item numbers and quantities, to ensure order accuracy
- Pack products securely and neatly using appropriate packing materials
- Label packages correctly and prepare them for shipping according to company procedures
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Report inventory discrepancies or damage goods to the supervisor
- Assist in inventory counts and restocking as needed
- Follow all safety protocols and company policies
Qualifications
- Previous warehouse or order fulfillment experience an asset
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to read and interpret order forms and labels
- Physically able to stand, walk, lift, and carry items throughout the shift
- Basic math and organizational skills
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work both independently and as part of a team
Working conditions
Hours:
- Monday – Friday, 7:00am to 3:30pm
