Position Summary
We are hiring experienced event security personnel (bouncers) for a private event beginning Friday, September 4 — 5:00 PM. This role involves guest screening, access control, crowd management, and maintaining a visible, professional security presence throughout the event.
Responsibilities
- Control entry and exit points; verify guest lists, tickets, and identification
- Monitor crowd behaviour and de-escalate conflicts calmly and professionally
- Enforce venue rules and client policies with courtesy and firmness
- Respond to incidents and provide first aid support when required
- Report all incidents accurately to the on-site Supervisor
- Maintain a professional appearance and demeanour at all times
Requirements
- Valid Ontario Security Guard Licence — mandatory (must be presented before the shift)
- Valid Standard First Aid & CPR-C certification — mandatory
- Prior experience in event, nightclub, concert, or crowd control security preferred
- Strong physical presence with the ability to stand for extended periods and manage crowd control duties
- Excellent communication, conflict de-escalation, and customer service skills
- Professional appearance; black pants and black formal shoes required
- Must be legally eligible to work in Canada
