Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and professional Server/Bartender to join our dynamic team. This role involves providing exceptional customer service, preparing and serving food and beverages, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for all guests. The ideal candidate will have experience in food service, strong time management skills, and a passion for hospitality. Previous experience with POS systems such as Square POS is a bonus. This position offers an opportunity to work in a lively environment where teamwork and customer satisfaction are paramount.

Duties
- Take customer orders accurately and efficiently using POS systems such as Micros POS
- Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of food safety and handling
- Prepare alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks as per standard recipes and customer preferences
- Manage cash handling and cashiering duties with accuracy and integrity
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of the bar area and dining space
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, answering questions, and addressing concerns
- Maintain knowledge of menu items, specials, and promotions to assist guests effectively
- Adhere to food safety regulations and responsible alcohol service policies
- Assist in setting up and closing down the bar or dining area as needed
Requirements
- Previous restaurant or food industry experience preferred, especially in serving or bartending roles
- Valid Serving It Right
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Square POS or similar platforms
- Professional, reliable and team-oriented
- Ability to multi-task and stay organized during busy service periods
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables or bar orders efficiently
- Basic math skills for cash handling, billing, and change calculation
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed
- Must be at least 18 years old with the ability to serve alcohol responsibly
