Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and dependable Class 3 Truck Driver to operate a stone slinger and volumetric concrete truck.
Duties
- Safely operate Class 3 commercial trucks to transport freight to designated locations, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle, including checking brakes, lights, tires, and fluid levels
- Load and unload trucks using a front end loader and providing exceptional customer service while unloading.
- Maintain accurate documentation of deliveries, pickups, and vehicle logs in compliance with company policies and legal requirements
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers to coordinate delivery schedules and resolve any issues promptly
- Follow all safety protocols related to heavy equipment operation and job site requirements.
Skills
- Valid Class 3 with Air commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Knowledge of heavy equipment operation relevant to loading/unloading cargo
- Basic automotive repair skills to troubleshoot minor vehicle issues on the road or at the yard
- Strong communication skills for coordinating with team members and clients effectively
- Ability to follow detailed instructions, safety procedures, and regulatory compliance standards
Pay: $24.00-$28.00 per hour
