Our Rockland office is looking for an Intermediate Accounting Technician to join the Assurance & Accounting team and own the following responsibilities:
Preparation and completion of working papers, financial statements and tax returns for compilation and review engagements for clients in a variety of businesses
Accurate and efficient preparation of bookkeeping and payroll
Preparation of regular external filings such as HST and T4's
Performing reconciliations of bank accounts, accounts payable and accounts receivable
Assist clients with accounting software, bookkeeping, and data entry as required

Your experience and education
You have a minimum of 2-3 years previous experience with Bookkeeping
You possess excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
You have the ability to prioritize with the flexibility to manage workload demands and multiple tasks as required
You are proficient with Accounting Software such as Simply Accounting and QuickBooks; experience with CaseWare/CaseView or Tax Prep is an asset
