Job description:
The responsibilities of the warehouse associate is dependent on the seasonality demands between shipping, receiving & listing products as well as other general warehouse duties such as dock receiving, product binning, order fulfilment, pick & pack, and preowned product staging.
Previous experience working with golf equipment or the golf industry is a plus, as the associate may also assist with light repair and refinishing work on golf clubs as needed. Those with advanced club repair experience will assist with club customization and club building.
The essential job functions of the position include but are not be limited to:
- Receive and process golf equipment (new and preowned) into our web-based inventory system.
- Examine and evaluate the condition of the golf product utilizing standardized procedures to determine the brand, model, product specific attributes and assign rating condition for each preowned club received
- Troubleshoot and identify issues with preowned golf club products during the receiving process and effectively communicate these issues to supervisor and supporting procurement team members.
- Perform golf club repairs as needed
- Pick & Pack using the Company’s proprietary software devices and systems.
- Process inbound packages from OEM’s and other suppliers into the facilities ERP systems on a daily basis.
- Put received product away to shelf using the Company’s proprietary software devices and systems.
- Provide regular continuous improvement feedback to help the CDC Manager optimize the levels of efficiency in which to run the facility.
Experience/Skills required: The experience and skill sets required to handle the job responsibilities of this position are as follows:
- Experience working in a warehouse environment
- Golf club product knowledge preferred but not required
- Club repair experience is a plus but not required, we will train capable candidates
- Computer literate and competent in the use of Microsoft Office™ applications; use of a mouse and scan wedge/barcode reader technology products
- Experience using inventory management software
- High school level math and reading skills
- Capable of providing beyond 40 hours per week during peak seasons
- Ability to lift boxes of golf merchandise up to 25 pounds
- Must have reliable transportation to and from work
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Highly organized with effective time management skills
- Effective problem-solving skills; ability to focus on facts and metrics
- Ability to work both independently and with a team as needed
- Ability to follow standardized procedures and operate in a fast paced environment
- Strong attention to detail; tenacity to ensure accuracy of all assignments completed

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $18.00 per hour
