What You'll Do
- Be the master of our dishwashing machine, ensuring all dishes, glasses, and utensils are spotless and ready for action.
- Show off your hand-washing skills for those special items that need a little extra care.
- Keep our kitchen pristine by maintaining clean and orderly work areas, equipment, and utensils.
- Manage trash and recyclables efficiently and responsibly.
- Jump in and lend a hand to our talented cooks and kitchen staff whenever they need you.
Seasonal Role with Amazing Perks
This is a seasonal position where you'll get to work at one of Nova Scotia's most famous destinations. Enjoy the unique experience of being part of the Peggy's Cove community while you work. What We're Looking For
- A proactive team player with a can-do attitude.
- Someone with a solid understanding of basic kitchen sanitation and food handling practices.
- The ability to keep up with the fast-paced energy of a busy kitchen.
- The physical stamina to stay on your feet and handle some heavy lifting.
- A great communicator who can follow instructions and assist the team efficiently.
- Must be available to start immediately and have open availability to work weekdays, evenings, weekends and holidays.
- Reliable transportation is essential. Candidates must be able to commute to Peggy's Cove as this is a requirement for the position.
- Bonus points if you have prior experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting!
