Spectrum Wireline Services Ltd. is currently seeking applicants for Wireline Supervisor based out of our Red Deer AB locations. The successful candidates will provide and assist crew and management with duties in the field and shop. We do not offer any pump down services, so no pump down duties are part of the work. We have lots of local work for our dedicated clients. Our company offers competitive wages with benefits and a 15/6 schedule.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Must have experience in the following areas to be considered;
Electric-line Services
- Knowledge of all well types at any depth, including critical sour, deviated wells etc.
- Understand advanced principles of tool operation and servicing
- Team player who can also work independently, paying attention to detail
- Superior communication and problem solving skills
- Have strong leadership skills
- Demonstrates independent and critical thinking
- Ability to analyze situations accurately and take appropriate action
- A positive attitude is considered a key requirement
- Successful completion of pre-employment screening (medical / audiogram / drug & alcohol)
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
- Perform all Electric line Services that Spectrum provides to their clients in which you are fully competent with.
- Ensure wireline unit and support vehicles are kept clean and in good operating condition
- Provide the customer with professional expertise and represent Spectrum in a positive manner
- Provide leadership, training and assist to those who are less experienced (mentorship)
- Review upcoming jobs/dispatches and deviate possible problems prior to departing shop facilities
- Perform all work in accordance with all provincial, federal legislation and industry standard or guidelines
- Ensure compliance with contractual requirements as set out by our clients requirements
- Comply with Spectrum HSE policies, Safe Work Practices (SWP) and Safe Operating Procedures (SOP)
- Complete a pre-job hazard assessment on every job. Discuss the results with all workers as part of your tailgate safety meeting which is also to be held on each job or job scope changes.
- Ensure you and your crew comply with Enserva's Perforating Code of Practice
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $90,000.00-$150,000.00 per year
