Job Summary
Greatwest Maintenance is a locally owned and operated material handling dealership, looking to add to our growing team.
This role involves providing on-site, maintenance, and repair services on forklifts, skid steers, areal equipment and other material handling equipment in Manitoba.
The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving abilities, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to service delivery.
Heavy Duty and automotive technician's skillsets are an asset.
Responsibilities
- Install, troubleshoot, and repair equipment at client sites
- Conduct routine maintenance checks and perform necessary adjustments or replacements.
- Document service activities, including repairs performed, parts used, and time spent on each task.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment while adhering to safety protocols.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide exceptional customer service.
- Keep up-to-date with product updates, technical manuals, and industry best practices.
Skills
- Proven experience in technical repair, maintenance, or related field service roles.
- Strong mechanical, electrical, or electronic troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities with a proactive attitude toward resolving issues.
- Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams accurately.
- Effective communication skills for interacting with clients and team members.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; ability to travel frequently to various locations.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while managing multiple service calls efficiently.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $30.00-$47.00 per hour
