Job Summary
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Health Care Aides / Personal Support Workers to provide exceptional care to our clients in private homes. The ideal candidate will be committed to improving the quality of life for individuals with diverse needs, including seniors, those with disabilities, and individuals requiring hospice or dementia care. Duties
- Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
- Provide patient care including medication administration and health monitoring under supervision
- Support with meal preparation and feeding as needed
- Help clients with light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment
- Assist with mobility and transfer techniques, including heavy lifting when necessary
- Offer companionship and emotional support to promote mental well-being
- Document care provided and report any changes in health status to supervising healthcare professionals
- Follow care plans tailored to individual needs, especially for those with dementia or other cognitive impairments
- Support clients with activities of daily living in home care or institutional settings
Qualifications
- Prior experience in assisted living, nursing home, hospice, or home care is highly desirable
- Knowledge of patient care, senior care, dementia care, and working with individuals with disabilities
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and assist with mobility needs safely
- Strong caregiving skills combined with compassion and patience
- Certification as a Health Care Aide or Personal Support Worker is preferred but not mandatory; relevant training will be provided if necessary
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Ability to follow detailed care plans and adhere to safety protocols
- Flexibility to work various shifts as needed; availability for both day and evening shifts is a plus

Pay: $17.85-$28.02 per hour
