We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Operator to support daily warehouse and shipping operations. This role oversees incoming and outgoing shipments, ensures accuracy and compliance with shipping requirements, operates material-handling equipment as needed, and serves as a key point of contact for on-site tenants to support efficient and safe warehouse operations.
This position is based at our Osoyoos, British Columbia, Canada location at 12617 87th St, Osoyoos, BC V0H 1V2.

Key Responsibilities
- Oversee incoming and outgoing shipping activities to ensure the accuracy, completeness, and condition of shipments.
- Inspect incoming materials and notify appropriate staff of potential quality issues.
- Inspect loading operations to ensure compliance with shipping specifications.
- Operate forklift, hand truck, or other equipment to load, unload, transport, and store goods.
- Direct movement of shipments from shipping and receiving platforms to storage and work areas.
- Coordinate with various tenants on the property to ensure their needs are met.
- Clear snow and ice from entrance areas when needed.
- Review shipping notices, bills of lading, invoices, orders, and other records to determine shipping priorities, work assignments, and shipping methods required to meet shipping and receiving schedules.
- Inspect material handling equipment for defects and notify maintenance personnel for repair.
- Assist the bottling line staff in operating the Sparkling wine bottling line.
- Inspect the warehouse for building and equipment issues requiring maintenance or repairs and report accordingly.
- Maintain a daily log of operations at the warehouse.
- Arrange transportation that optimizes service and cost.
- Ensure the shipping area is organized and clean at all times and meets all compliance requirements.
- Follow safe operating procedures.
- Hold responsibility for site security, including ensuring only authorized personnel are present and ensure the property is secured each evening.
- Other duties as assigned.
Skills & Qualifications
- 3-5 years of related work experience.
- Post secondary degree or diploma in Business Administration, Materials Management, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Forklift Certificate from a reputable training school preferred.
- Valid Refrigeration Safety Awareness certificate would be an asset.
- Proven health and safety orientation.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Exceptional time management skills.
- Ability to handle pressure.
- Ability to adapt and formulate new plans as contingencies arise.
- Self-motivated, with leadership skills and a high energy outlook.
- Strong written communication skills.
- Able to perform basic calculations and mathematical figures.
- Ability to work individually and as part of a team.
- High level of integrity and work ethic.
- Must possess a valid Class 5 driver’s license in good standing.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

What We Offer
The pay range for this position is $24 - $27 per hour. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at the top of the range for their role. Actual placement within range will be contingent upon several factors, including but not limited to the candidate’s qualifications, education, experience, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
