Working as part of the warehouse & distribution team, the Logistics Coordinator is responsible for all day-to-day logistics activities including planning, scheduling and releasing warehouse orders, outbound/inbound transportation coordination, as well as providing administrative and hands on support to the logistics team.
Essential Functions
· Coordinate all inbound/outbound freight arrangements, tracking and tracing as required resolving any challenges along the way.
· Maintain electronic transportation records, reporting and metrics as required.
· Prepare all related shipping documentation including, but not limited to, commercial invoice, bill of lading, packing sip, CUSMA certificate, HAZMAT and other customers or government regulated documentation as required.
· Assist with Carrier/Broker selection and evaluation
· Prepare and execute the daily shipping schedule, coordinate with all parties as required to support the schedule and on-time customer delivery.
· Act as backup to the Warehouse Supervisor
· Other duties as required
· Review orders for accuracy and identify/flag if they contain special instructions
· Provide support and knowledge for drivers: directions, site details and project information.
· Coordinate warehouse and QA/QC issues pertaining to active orders.
· Liaise between manufacturing and packaging facilities to ensure timely delivery of components for assembly.
· Schedules, allocates and sets priorities for customer orders.
Environmental, Health and Safety Responsibilities
· Work in compliance with Ontario Occupational Health and Safety Acts and Regulations.
· Work safely as required, following environment, health and safety policies and procedures, including the use of personal protective equipment, safety equipment/devices, and guarding and following safe work practices.
· Immediately report workplace hazards or occupational injury/illness to a team leader/supervisor.
· Report any missing or defective equipment or protective device that may be dangerous.
· Report or raise any perceived workplace harassment, discrimination or violence concerns.
· Actively participate in all health and safety initiatives and activities, including incident investigations, safety meetings and training
Required Skills and Experience
- Must obtain the necessary internal licensing required by Edgewell and be comfortable working in a computerized environment.
- High School completed or equivalent experience with 2 years of experience in a warehouse environment.
- Experience working under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated ability to use computer and wireless technology.
- Knowledge of safety procedures and requirements, and acceptable quality standards.
- Solid organization skills with high level of initiative.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and effective communication skills.
- Reliable with a strong commitment to perform well within given timelines.

Pay: $56,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
