Overview
We are seeking a friendly and attentive Part-Time Server to join our dynamic restaurant team. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about providing exceptional guest experiences and who possess strong customer service skills. The Part-Time Server will be responsible for delivering high-quality service, taking orders, and ensuring guests enjoy their dining experience in a welcoming environment. Prior experience in food service or hospitality is preferred but not required, as training will be provided. This position offers flexible hours suitable for students or those seeking part-time employment within the food industry.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
- Take food and beverage orders accurately using POS systems such as Micros POS
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining presentation standards
- Handle cash transactions and process payments efficiently, including cash handling and cashiering duties
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of dining areas, tables, and service stations in accordance with food safety standards
- Assist with food preparation or kitchen tasks as needed to support team operations
- Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during busy periods
- Provide guest services that promote customer satisfaction and encourage repeat visits
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health regulations to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality industries is a plus but not mandatory; training will be provided
- Knowledge of POS systems such as Micros POS is advantageous
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
- Ability to handle multiple tables efficiently while maintaining attention to detail
- Good time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy shifts
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately
- Understanding of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to work well within a team in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to work part-time hours, including evenings and weekends as needed

Pay: $18.25-$30.25 per hour
