Duties
- Implement individualized behavior intervention plans developed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) or Registered Behavior Analysts (RBAs)
- Collect and analyze data on client progress to inform treatment adjustments
- Support children during therapy sessions, promoting skill development in communication, social interaction, and daily living activities
- Maintain accurate electronic medical records (EMRs) documenting session details, progress notes, and treatment outcomes
- Collaborate with team members and families to ensure consistency and effectiveness of interventions
- Assist in training and supervising Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) as needed
- Uphold safety standards and foster a positive, engaging environment during all sessions
Requirements
- Experience working with children in educational, clinical, or care settings preferred
- Knowledge of special education principles and child development best practices
- Patience, empathy, and excellent communication skills essential for working with diverse children and families
- Familiarity with medical terminology relevant to behavioral health is advantageous
- Ability to accurately collect and record data using electronic systems
- Prior experience with electronic medical records (EMRs) is desirable
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple cases and documentation efficiently
