Job Overview and Schedule
Join a supportive, experienced team of HCA's providing high-quality home support for an active gentlemen who uses a power wheelchair for mobility.
We are looking for daytime coverage Monday to Friday.
Mon/Wed/Fri require a firm 7:45 Start time, but we offer some flexibility with the rest of the weekly schedule and shift end times. Full-time hours are available, and paid training is provided.
A good sense of humour is valued.
Responsibilities
- Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting and mobility support
- Perform range of motion exercises
- Engage in recreation activities, outdoor walks
- Companionship: engage in card games, board games, movies, and shared laughs
- Perform light housekeeping duties including cleaning of personal spaces and common areas to ensure a safe environment
- Provide compassionate caregiving that promotes emotional well-being and social engagement
- Document care activities meticulously and communicate effectively
- Demonstrated experience caring for seniors or individuals with disabilitiesFamiliarity with home care routines including meal preparation and light
Pay: $28.00-$30.00 per hour
