The Facility Attendant will work closely with Facility Manager to maintain and operate the Shane Homes West Soccer Dome. The Facility Attendant performs a wide variety of primarily manual labour duties, involving the operation of light power equipment in the maintenance of the facility and property. Working conditions include exposure to all types of weather conditions, as well as close proximity to equipment noises and heavy lifting. Work is primarily conducted in public settings. · Act immediately and appropriately to ensure safety of customers in the event of an emergency
· Provide emergency care and treatment as required until arrival of emergency medical services
· Present a professional appearance and attitude at all times, including wearing the provided uniform during each shift and appropriate footwear
· Enforcement of the rules and regulations of the facility
· Operating equipment including ATV’s, tractors and other related equipment of similar size and complexity.
· Perform custodial duties, general maintenance, and repair tasks throughout the facility.
· Monitor the actions of groups and individuals using the facilities, i.e., public awareness of rules and regulations.
· Plan, prioritize and organize tasks to meet daily operational needs of the facility.
Job Types: Seasonal, Part-time
Pay: $22.00-$23.00 per hour
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Calgary, AB: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
Experience:
- Maintenance: 1 year (preferred)
