Job Overview
We are seeking one full time and two part time dedicated and detail-oriented housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidates will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards across various facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all occupants. The full time position offers on site shared accommodations available for $350.00 per month. PART TIME POSITIONS ARE ONE TO TWO DAYS PER WEEK AND PERFECT FOR SOMEONE WITH A FULL TIME JOB AND ACCOMMODATIONS ELSEWHERE. FOR PART TIME WE WORK AROUND YOUR CURRENT FULL TIME SCHEDULE. Positions are open to Canadian citizens and those with foreign holiday working visas already approved.
Responsibilities
- Perform general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming of assigned areas
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, kitchens, and common areas to meet health and safety standards
- Change linens, empty trash receptacles, and restock supplies as needed
- Maintain cleanliness of floors, windows, furniture, and fixtures
- Follow established cleaning procedures and safety protocols at all times
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly
- Use cleaning equipment and supplies efficiently while adhering to company policies
Requirements
- Prior custodial or cleaning experience is preferred, especially in commercial cleaning environments, however will train someone with previous employment longevity.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to high standards of cleanliness
- Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Good physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks that may involve standing, bending, lifting, and walking for extended periods
- Reliable with a strong work ethic and punctuality
- Ability to follow instructions carefully and maintain confidentiality when required
