Summary:
Dexotech Power is looking for a determined individual to grow and deliver WOW experiences to our trusted clients. This individual will self-preform highly advanced technical work, prepare proposals and reports in accordance with internal guidelines, assist in content development, onboarding of new team members and will assist in converting leads into projects and satisfied clients. We are seeking a Power System Engineering COOP to assist in all aspects of Power System Life Cycle Management. The successful candidate will be exposed and gain a strong understanding of Power System design and operation including system design and studies, relaying, control and protection, equipment engineering, HV insulation systems, commissioning, acceptance, interconnect, operations, maintenance and end of life evaluations. Strong communication and technical writing skills is a must for this role.

· Currently enrolled in Bachelor’s Degree In electrical engineering, Year 3 or 4.
· Some knowledge of substation equipment.
· Some knowledge of electrical calculation and computer applications.
· Some knowledge of power system protection and power system calculations such as load flow and impedance calculations.
· Strong communication skills.
· Strong hands on mechanical skills, soldering, drilling, wire installation, etc.
· Excellent organization, time management and negotiation skills.
· Strong leadership capabilities when needed.
· Autonomous and self management capability.
· A valid driver's license.
· Clean background check to meet plant access requirements.
General Responsibilities:
· Assist in project execution, proposal and report preparation.
· Perform electrical calculations, system modeling and simulations under supervision of the Principal Engineer.
· Perform data collection, organization and reporting.
· Assist in field testing and inspection projects.
· Manage light duty projects and clients.
· Prepare technical research documents.
· Assist in laboratory preparation, testing and cleanup.

· The ability to see and respond to dangerous situations.
· The ability to comprehend and follow electrical safety and approach distances.
