Overview
We are seeking a friendly and attentive Server to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional guest service, ensure food safety standards, and create a welcoming dining experience for all patrons. Duties
- Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Clover POS
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality
- Handle cash transactions accurately through cashiering and cash handling procedures
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Ensure proper food handling, sanitation, and safety protocols are followed at all times
- Assist in food preparation or kitchen tasks as needed to support smooth operations
- Maintain cleanliness of tables, dining areas, and service stations in compliance with sanitation standards
- Manage guest inquiries or concerns professionally to ensure guest satisfaction
- Support team members during busy periods by managing time effectively
Skills
- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments with strong customer service skills
- Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Clover POS, for efficient order processing and cashiering
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables and tasks simultaneously
- Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures
- Basic math skills for accurate bill calculation and cash handling
- Ability to upsell menu items confidently to enhance guest experience
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members
- Kitchen experience or food industry background is a plus but not required
- Guest services mindset with a focus on hospitality excellence
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
