A service-driven paper and packaging products company, Atlantic Packaging has grown to become one of Canada’s largest paper manufacturers and a leading producer of packaging products. Our organization employs approximately 1000 people at eight manufacturing plants and four distribution centers.
We’re looking for an eager, energetic person to learn about our products and train to become a successful member of our customer service team. At Atlantic Packaging, we’re focused on providing extensive training and development to our Customer Service Coordinators, ensuring that they have all the skills and tools necessary to succeed in their role.
In this role, you will liaise between internal departments and the client to provide service most suitable to the client’s needs, cost and time restraints.
During the training, you will spend time with different facets of our business while you learn about the world of corrugated packaging products and the national brands that make up our customer base.

Here are a few things you need to know:
Handle a high volume of customer enquiries while providing a high quality of service to each caller
Write up accurate and grammatically correct sales correspondence
Track sales orders to ensure that they are scheduled and sent out on time
Effectively communicate with customers in a professional and friendly manner
Order and ensure the delivery of goods to customers
Support the field sales team
Carry out administrative tasks such as processing information, completing paperwork and filing documents
Contact potential customers to arrange appointments
Resolve any sales related issues with customers
Complete the administrative needs of the Sales Department
Make follow-up calls to confirm sales orders or delivery dates
Respond to sales queries via phone, e-mail and in writing
Accurately analyze and assess statistical data
Minimum two years experience in a customer service role. Must have an excellent telephone manner
Proactive self-starter with the ability to demonstrate leadership skills
Strong/effective communication skills
Good organizational skills and the ability to prioritize
Ability to work autonomously and with little direction
Must be a team player committed to maintaining desired service levels
Exhibit a sense of urgency and be able to demonstrate the ability to solve problems in a fast paced environment
Ability to present themselves in a professional manner
