Fetch Laundry, home of Hamilton Cleaners, is part of Fetch Laundry Network, Southwestern Ontario's textile logistics network, built on decades of experience in the dry cleaning and garment care industry. We combine route-based pickup and delivery with centralized processing to make laundry and dry cleaning easy for our customers.
The Role
We're looking for a Front Counter Customer Service Representative to be the face of our Hamilton location. You'll handle customer drop-off and pick-up, manage transactions, and keep the counter running smoothly and efficiently. This is a hands-on, fast-paced role, you're on your feet, dealing with people, and keeping things organized all day.
What You'll Do
- Greet customers and handle garment drop-off and pick-up at the counter
- Accurately tag, sort, and process incoming orders, keeping detailed records of transactions and special instructions
- Operate the point-of-sale system and handle cash/card transactions
- Answer customer questions by phone, email and in person about services, pricing, and order status, and troubleshoot issues to keep the experience smooth
- Recommend add-on services (stain protection, repairs) where they genuinely help the customer
- Keep the front counter and retail area clean, organized, and presentable
- Communicate special instructions (stains, repairs, rushes) clearly to the plant team
- Handle customer concerns calmly and escalate when needed
- Support daily opening/closing procedures
What We're Looking For
- Reliable and punctual, you show up, every shift, on time
- Strong communication skills and a professional, friendly manner with customers, in person and on the phone
- Comfortable handling cash, POS systems, and basic math
- Strong data entry skills and attention to detail, order accuracy matters
- Able to multitask in a busy, repetitive retail environment
- Retail, customer service, or cash handling experience is an asset, not required
- Must be legally able to work in Canada and local to the Hamilton area
Compensation & Growth
- $17.60–$19.00/hour, based on experience (Ontario's general minimum wage rises to $18.00/hour on October 1, 2026, and pay will be adjusted accordingly)

Work Environment
Fast-paced, hands-on, retail-facing. You'll be on your feet, interacting with customers throughout your shift, and working as part of a small, accountable team.
Pay: $17.60-$19.00 per hour
