About The RoleSource Office Furniture is seeking a Sales Assistant at our Kitchener, ON location. This is a full-time position.As the Sales Assistant, you are responsible for providing administrative support to the sales representatives and account executives by managing and processing sales orders, creating and modifying quotes, and directly assisting customers by phone, email, or face-to-face. This role also supports core store functions to help ensure smooth day-to-day operations.

What You’ll Do
Sales Administration / Sales Support· Generate sales orders on behalf of sales representatives as required and process accordingly· Create, revise, and manage quotes in support of Account Executives· Track open quotes and support consistent follow‑up to improve conversion· Support sales staff in selling product in the showroom for vacation coverage or unplanned absences· Liaise with suppliers regarding pricing, availability, lead times, and order status· Monitor backorders and coordinate with suppliers, warehouse, and installation teams· Support internal coordination to ensure smooth handoff from sale to delivery
Account Executives/ Business Development Support· Support Account Executives with proposal and presentation preparation, including clean, client‑facing documents· Assist with preparing materials for prospect and customer meetings· Help organize and maintain target account lists and active opportunities· Support follow‑up and recap communication after customer meetings· Provide basic account research and opportunity tracking support· Help bring consistency and polish to sales materials and customer communication
Accounting / Store Administration· Conduct the daily cash‑out process and ensure accuracy· Support showroom presentation by ensuring products are properly displayed, set up, labeled, and maintained· Assist with ensuring showroom products are accurately tracked, counted, and reflected in inventory systems· Other administrative duties as assigned to support store operations
What You Bring· High school diploma is a minimum; post secondary education; i.e. business diploma or certificate is an asset· 1 year of office administration/coordination; preferably in a support role with tight deadlines and high pressure; being in a sales environment is an advantage· Superior customer service skills· Highly organized and able to manage time efficiently· Strong verbal and written communication skills· Able to work in a fast-paced environment and the ability to handle high pressure and multiple deadlines· Experience with business systems, MS Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 5:30pm.
