As a non-alcoholic beverage establishment, the Bartender will specialize in preparing and serving a variety of mocktails, specialty beverages, coffees, teas, and other non-alcoholic drinks. Experience in the food industry, familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS, and excellent time management skills are essential for success in this role.
Duties
- Prepare and serve specialty non-alcoholic beverages, including mocktails, coffees, teas, and other house-made drinks, accurately and efficiently.
- Engage with guests in a friendly manner, providing excellent customer service to enhance their experience.
- Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, for order entry and cash handling.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in accordance with food safety standards.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering duties and basic math calculations.
- Demonstrate knowledge of beverage preparation techniques and ingredients.
- Restock bar supplies as needed and assist with inventory management.
- Comply with all food safety regulations and restaurant policies related to food handling and service.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operation during busy hours.
Experience
- Previous experience in a restaurant, café, bar, or food service environment is preferred.
- Experience preparing specialty non-alcoholic beverages, mocktails, coffees, or similar drinks is an asset.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS is advantageous.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally.
- Knowledge of food safety procedures and proper food handling techniques.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and measuring drink recipes.
- Experience in hospitality or the food industry is highly desirable.
- Ability to manage time effectively during busy service periods.
