Group Electrical is seeking a motivated and dependable Underground Utility Labourer to join our growing team. This position involves assisting with the installation, maintenance, and repair of underground utility infrastructure, including telecommunications, electrical, and utility services.

Responsibilities
- Assist crews with the installation of underground utility systems.
- Load, unload, and transport tools, materials, and equipment.
- Perform hand digging, trenching, and backfilling as required.
- Install conduit, utility boxes, pedestals, and related infrastructure.
- Maintain a safe and organized worksite.
- Follow company safety policies and procedures.
- Assist equipment operators and skilled tradespeople as directed.
- Conduct basic site cleanup and restoration activities.
- Complete daily paperwork and safety documentation.
Qualifications
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license.
- Ability to perform physically demanding work in various weather conditions.
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Reliable transportation to and from work.
- Previous construction, utility, telecommunications, or underground experience is considered an asset but not required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working around underground utilities.
- First Aid/CPR certification.
- Ground Disturbance Level II certification.
- Experience operating small equipment and power tools.
- Class 3 driver’s license is an asset.

Pay: $22.00-$26.00 per hour
