Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Sales Assistant to join our retail team. Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products that meet their needs
- Conduct product demonstrations and explain features to enhance customer understanding
- Engage in upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities
- Manage cash handling, POS transactions, and cashiering duties accurately
- Maintain visual merchandising standards to ensure attractive product displays
- Provide knowledgeable responses to customer inquiries regarding products, services, and promotions
- Assist with inventory management, stock replenishment, and organization of merchandise
- Ensure excellent customer service by addressing concerns promptly and professionally
- Support store operations through effective time management and organizational skills
- Uphold phone etiquette when communicating with customers over the phone or via digital channels
Requirements
- Proven experience in retail sales, preferably in technology or related fields
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly and confidently
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customer bases
- Familiarity with product demos, merchandising, POS systems, and cash handling procedures
- Basic math skills for transactions and inventory management
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work well within a team and independently when needed
- Previous experience in phone etiquette, upselling techniques, and technical sales is advantageous
