Summary
As a Barista/Server at Willie's Cafe, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional coffee and beverage experiences to our customers. Located in the heart of our bustling downtown, this position is essential for maintaining our reputation for timely service and quality offerings.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve high-quality coffee beverages and other menu items.
- Ensure adherence to food safety and hygiene standards at all times.
- Manage cash transactions accurately using the POS system.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons and addressing their needs as both a barista and dining room server.
- Maintain cleanliness of the café area, including equipment and workstations.
- Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient café operations.
Requirements
- Previous experience in front of house service and as a barista preferred.
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and practices.
- Excellent time management skills to handle busy periods effectively.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and transactions.
- Familiarity with TOAST POS systems is an asset.
