OVERVIEW
We have launched an innovative line of Martha Stewart food products in Canada and the U.S. and are seeking a creative, motivated, detail-oriented and organized Brand & Marketing Coordinator to join our team.
The selected candidate will be responsible for coordinating and supporting a wide range of brand and marketing initiatives, including marketing campaigns, social media, content creation, email marketing, website updates, public relations, influencer partnerships, market research, and the development of promotional and sales materials.
This role focuses on developing and executing creative marketing initiatives for consumer products, including food and cooking-related products, that are consistent with established brand guidelines. The successful candidate will work closely with internal teams, graphic designers, external agencies, and other partners to support the growth and visibility of our brands in Canada and the U.S.
DUTIES
Campaign Coordination
- Assist with planning and executing of marketing campaigns.
- Coordinate timelines and ensure projects remain on schedule.
- Work closely with graphic design team on the development of marketing materials.
Social Media
- Create and schedule posts across social media platforms.
- Write captions and source or create visual content.
- Monitor engagement and respond to comments or messages, when appropriate.
- Track and report on social media performance.
Content Creation
- Create and coordinate content for social media, websites, email campaigns, blogs, and marketing materials.
- Write and edit press releases, email newsletters, website content, blog posts, product descriptions and sales materials.
- Ensure that messaging and creative materials are consistent with established brand guidelines.
Email Marketing
- Build and send email marketing campaigns.
- Maintain and organize contact lists.
- Monitor open rates, click-through rates, and other campaign performance metrics.
Website Management
- Update website content.
- Upload new products, announcements and other content.
- Coordinate with web developers when technical changes or updates are required.
Graphic Design Coordination
- Create simple graphics using tools like Canva or Adobe Express.
- Coordinate design requests with the internal graphic design team.
- Review marketing materials to help ensure consistency with established brand guidelines.
Market Research
- Research competitors and competitive products.
- Identify relevant consumer, retail and industry trends.
- Gather and organize customer and market feedback.
- Compile research and findings for management.
Marketing Administration
- Manage marketing calendars and project schedules.
- Organize digital marketing assets and files.
- Assist with tracking marketing budgets and invoices.
- Coordinate the ordering of promotional merchandise and printed materials.
Internal & External Coordination
- Coordinate with sales, graphic design, e-commerce, management, external agencies and other partners.
- Ensure internal and external stakeholders have access to current and approved marketing materials.
PR & Media
- Draft press releases and other PR materials.
- Assist with media outreach and communications.
- Help coordinate influencer partnerships and collaborations.
- Assist with media inquiries when appropriate.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 1-2 years of relevant marketing experience, preferably within CPG, food, retail, consumer products or digital marketing.
- Bachelor’s degree or college diploma in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create clear, engaging marketing content.
- Strong organizational and project coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects, priorities and deadlines simultaneously.
- Experience with social media platforms and content creation.
- Familiarity with digital marketing, email marketing and website content management.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office or Google Workspace and familiarity with tools such as Canva or Adobe Express or similar platforms.
- Basic understanding of marketing analytics and the ability to monitor campaign and social media performance.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain consistency with established brand guidelines.
- Creative mindset with an interest in consumer brands, food, retail and emerging marketing trends.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with sales, graphic design, e-commerce, management and external partners.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment where responsibilities may evolve as the company grows.
- Strong written and spoken English.
ASSETS
- Proficiency in French.
- Experience working with consumer packaged goods (CPG), grocery retail, licensed brands or product launches.
- Experience coordinating with graphic designers, external agencies, influencers or media partners.
- Experience with consumer-facing brands in the Canadian or U.S. markets
WORK LOCATION
This position requires in-person attendance during the first 3 months. Following this initial period, the position may transition to a hybrid work schedule, depending on the successful candidate's preference and the requirements of the role.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $55,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
