Load & Haul Supervisor
Mission for this Position
The Load & Haul Supervisor is accountable to execute the haulage and road maintenance activities in the Daily Plan. The position involves leading a team of 10-15 equipment operators (trucks, graders, shovels and loaders) so that they can safely and efficiently achieve their tasks. Reporting to the Mining Superintendent, the Load & Haul Supervisor will be expected to identify training requirements, develop his direct reports and participate to the department CI initiatives.

Main Accountabilities
Ensuring work procedures are followed and safety standards are adhered to.
Supervising employees, identifying training gaps and developing people
Ensuring tonnes moved and ore quality meet the plan targets.
Ensuring the roads are built and maintained to a safe and productive standard.
Maximizing equipment utilization and productivity.
Main Qualifications
Minimum 3 years of experience supervising personnel in a mining production environment.
Basic computer literacy is essential.
Ability to work under pressure is essential.
Experience operating mining equipment (particularly trucks, graders, loaders and shovels) will be considered an asset.
Experience in mine planning will be considered an asset.
Experience in rolling out continuous improvement initiatives will be considered an asset.
